2JPEG 10 Released — New Supported File Formats, Upgraded File Processing Components, and Other Updates

A major update of the 2JPEG command-line document and image converter is on the way. Version 10.0 brings a host of new capabilities, format support, and under-the-hood improvements.

New supported formats

• HEIC (HEIF), EMLX, VCF, ICS, PST, EPUB, PLT, SVG
• Lotus HWP (requires OpenOffice or LibreOffice installed)

• Running multiple command lines in a single session with -cmdlines switch
• Ability to automatically remove blank pages (-oper removeblankpages)
• Support for wildcards (such as asterisk (*) and question mark (?)) in file list files
• Preserving input folder structure in output using -postproc keepsf parameter
• Configure Text watermark margins with txt_margin parameter:"left,top,right,bottom"
• Log brief session statistics using -options reslog
• Ability to load lists with file paths from Excel (XLS, XLSX) and CSV spreadsheets

2JPEG Settings

• Save and load your 2JPEG Settings via Export/Import buttons
• Load previously saved custom Settings with -inipath switch
• Automatically resize large embedded images in Outlook EML/MSG to fit page dimensions (2JPEG Settings → Advanced → Word → Downscale shapes to page size)
• New Excel conversion options: show/hide gridlines, headers, set page orientation (2JPEG Settings → Advanced → File loading settings → Excel)
• Support for proprietary media formats in HTML source files (2JPEG Settings → Advanced → File loading settings → HTML → Allow proprietary media formats)
• Set character encoding for HTML files (Code page setting)
